My wife Liz and I wanted to find a way to help off-set the high cost of gas, and we came up with a simple program to help out our patients called “Smile-A-Mile”.

 

Our “Smile-A-Mile” Program reimburses our patients for their round trip cost of gas for each visit. We calculated the mileage from each of the cities like Benson, Douglas, Tombstone, Bisbee and more, to our Sierra Vista Dentist Office. We used the average miles per gallon that a typical family vehicle gets according to statistics (24), and the average cost of per gallon of gas throughout Cochise County Arizona ($3.73) and came up with our “Smile-A-Mile Program”.

 

As an example, our Benson Arizona Patients are now being reimbursed $7.00 for each and every visit to our Sierra Vista Dental office, and all you need to do is bring in a water, electricity or phone bill to show proof of residence.

 

We kept it simple as we could. Smile-A-Mile reimburses for gas per patient, so as to support car pooling. If there are 3 patients in one visit, it is three times the gas reimbursement amount. The amount to be reimbursed is credited to their individual treatment upon payment for services.
